9-15-2016 Yosemite National Park, California

Views of Yosemite Valley from Glacier Point, 4,000 feet above the valley floor.

The famous Half Dome, a granite dome that rises 5,000 feet above the valley floor, appears in many of our photos of Yosemite Valley, but here is a close-up.

President Teddy Roosevelt and John Muir stood on Overhanging Rock in 1903 for a photo.

A final view of the valley.
